Welcome to my website! If you're here, you're likely planning a trip to the extraordinary French island of St. Barthélemy. Whether this is your first visit or your tenth, this island has a way of captivating you and making you want to return again and again.
For years, I've visited St. Barth, staying in various hotels and villas. Through these experiences, I envisioned creating a space that honors the island's authentic architecture while offering the comforts of a luxury suite—all with a stunning, front-line sea view.
The Yellow Hut is the culmination of everything I love. It's a quiet, private retreat where the only sounds are the waves, yet it’s just minutes from the vibrant towns of Gustavia and Saint-Jean.
Step inside and you'll find a world-class interior offering the comforts you'd expect in New York, Tokyo, or Paris, but set against the breathtaking backdrop of St. Barth's turquoise waters. The property features a beautiful deck with a pool, a tropical garden, and a dedicated workstation with Starlink Wi-Fi—because even in paradise, a little connectivity can be a luxury.
Here, you can enjoy the best of both worlds: the peaceful tranquility of an island bungalow and the sophisticated amenities of a luxury escape.
What I love most about St. Barth isn't its reputation for luxury, but its quiet heart: a feeling of safety, a warm atmosphere, and an untamed natural beauty. It's a place where I've traveled alone countless times and found a community of lifelong friends. I've spent years exploring every one of its beaches and discovering the secrets of its hiking trails.
Your journey here is part of the magic. Arriving is an adventure in itself, typically a short, 15-minute flight from St. Martin that culminates in one of the most breathtaking landings in the world. As you touch down on the famous short runway, you know you're arriving somewhere truly special.
The Yellow Hut is where you'll find your rhythm again. Imagine waking with the sunrise to hike to Colombier for a morning swim, grabbing a coffee on your way back, and starting your day's work with the ocean's gentle song as your soundtrack. There's a profound, soothing power in having the sea right outside your door, a feeling that brings peace to the soul.
My journey began in Tokyo, took me to New York for my formative years, and eventually led me to Paris, where I’ve lived for the last two decades. As a lifelong nomad, I've always been drawn to new places and experiences.
A little over ten years ago, during a trip with friends in the Caribbean, I stumbled upon the magical island of St. Barth. I immediately fell in love. Since then, I've returned every couple of months, feeling an undeniable pull to this unique place. I made a promise to myself: by the time I turned 40, I would have a home here. Just a few years ago, on the very month of my 40th birthday, that dream became a reality.
When I began renovating The Yellow Hut, I was determined to preserve the charm of an authentic St. Barth case (bungalow or hut in French). I wanted to create a place for people like me—busy city dwellers and remote workers—to land, reset, and reconnect with a simpler way of life. It’s a place where you can wake up with the sunrise, work with clarity, and recharge your mind.
St. Barth has always been a "power spot," a place of incredible energy where open-minded individuals gather to brainstorm and plan. To tap into that creative flow, you need a space that allows for rest and clear thinking. For me, The Yellow Hut is that sanctuary.
I've poured my heart into this home, and I'm so excited to share it with you. I invite you to come and experience the unique energy of St. Barth and the tranquility of The Yellow Hut for yourself.
